AC Accumulator
Salvage Used AC Accumulator
The primary function is to isolate the ac compressor from any
damaging liquid refrigerant. The accumulators remove debris
and moisture from the air conditioning system.
AC accumulator also known as receiver-drier is primarily
used for the removal of moisture and filtering the dirt. The accumulator should
be maintained properly to separate gas and liquid entering the compressor of
the AC. It consists of a material called Desiccant that performs the function
of removing the moisture.
The accumulator must be changed timely to reduce the loss of
refrigerant. You can change once in 3 to 4 years as the desiccant pellets start
breaking down and clog the expansion valve. It also clears the non-condensable
particles entering the AC compressor.
